If you haven’t been to one yet, our Jewelry Parties are very casual, low pressure events. We’ll be serving light snacks & offering each guest a complimentary gift bag just for stopping by. Shipping Notifications & Holiday Mondays

Just a quick reminder: this coming Monday is a holiday both up here in Canada & in the US, so there will be no mail going out on Monday, Oct. 11th. Please expect an extra day or two for your packages to arrive, as holidays always seem to back-log the postal offices.

We are shipping out orders tomorrow (Thursday) & Friday & will send out this weekend’s orders on Tuesday.

We’re still at a 2-3 week wait for our soldered rings (and anything that you want customized), but ready-to-ship items are shipping out within 4 days of ordering. Crossing our fingers that we’ll be able to get that 2-3 week wait down soon, but you’re keeping us flooded with orders so we can’t make any promises yet. 🙂

FLASH SPECIAL! Free Rings for Everyone!

When I first opened my jewelry shop, I knew I had to set some sort of goal. I can focus really well with a tangible goal, so I knew I had to have one. Not that I had to actively work towards it, or do anything differently, but just to think outloud about.. in a sort of a whispered, unimaginable way.

My goal was one goal a day. I felt kinda silly making such a huge goal in the beginning, when I hadn’t yet sold a thing. I went the first couple months with only sales from the oh-so supportive friends & family, but I continued to work heavily on my shop. I started listing in my artfire shop on August 12th (after pushing back my ‘debut’ day a week or so when I realized that “hey, listing jewelry isn’t actually 20 minutes of work“) & started listing on etsy September 12th. As I’m coming up to the one year date*, I just realized I hit 350 sales in my etsy shop!  By my 1 year etsy anniversary I will have hit my shop goal. It’s super exciting & really amazing… I guess it’s time to figure out some new goals 🙂

(I guess, technically, I hit the 365 sale goal ages ago if you combine both my shops, BUT who wants to be technical?)

Summer Brings New Rings Always.

This season, it’s all about mixed metals in statement jewelry; the bigger, the better. We love rings because they’re a quick & easy way to add some attitude to your outfit… & when they look this fun, you won’t be able to stop looking at your fingers. Our latest collection of cocktail rings combines your favorite metals with a nature-inspired sass. Whether your preference is for golden brass, copper or silver, we have something in store for you.

A little slice of silver for your knuckles! These knuckle rings are faux two finger rings — they cover your fingers but are worn on just one. All the glamour of a two finger ring with the easy wearability of a one finger ring. DAY FIVE: Knuckle Rings in Jungle Fern!

Disclaimer: My true “Day Five” was spent in the car — driving the 12.5 hour trek from Alberta back to Vancouver. Now that I’m back, we are continuing with the sale specials as usual!

Looks great when worn on the middle or ring finger. Yay, versatility!

Fern Frond Knuckle Ring in Handtorched brass. I love the effect of the flame on the metal! Heating brass creates brilliant rainbows with iridescent glitz that just can’t be beat. You can see some of it in this picture: the delicate detailing in the leaves are accentuated by the oil-slick shine. Pretty, pretty.

Faux finger design means it’s worn on one finger, instead of two. Instead of limiting finger mobility, this ring appears to “float” over your knuckles, bringing attention & awe whereever it’s worn. Don’t believe me? Try one on yourself 🙂

Celebrating One Year as Brilliance Found!

One year ago today, Brilliance Found was introduced to the internet. Although I didn’t technically start filling up my shop until August 12th (September 12th on etsy) I couldn’t pass up the excuse to celebrate today as my official one year. And of course I couldn’t have done it without all of you, the glorious supporters & fashionistas who make my job just so amazing. I am humbled by your strong sense of style & incredible generosity.

But enough being sentimental, let’s celebrate! As I mentioned earlier, each day this week I’ll be announcing a super jewelry special.. valid for the day of only. Items will be limited in stock, so if you see something that catches your eye, you know what to do! Originally I had planned on opening this week with my Summer collection, but my camera had other ideas, so to compromise I’m re-issuing my older favorites at my new price. And instead of limiting the special to one item a day, I’ll continue to sell it at the discounted price until July 18th.

And as an extra treat, all orders placed from July 17th – 24th will receive a FREE pair of mystery earrings. How exciting.

Bzzzzzz. Hey, bee lovers!

Brilliance Found Jewelry will have a table at the 6th annual Honeybee Festival, July 24th & 25th!

If you’re in the lower mainland & you’re not allergic, stop by & say hi to our fuzzy flying friends. Admission is free & there’s fun activities & demonstrations (as well as an artisan market for shopping) going on from 10am-4pm each day. Mr. Bisteries will be entering the bee beard contest, so if you want to see him all covered in bees, you know where to be! The Brilliance Found jewelry table will be selling our new Summer collection & some honeybee-inspired favorites, of course!

We’re giving away a pair of Beehive Earrings each day of the festival, so be sure to stop by our table for your chance to win!

The festival is located at the Honeybee Centre in Surrey, at the corner of 176 street and Fraser Highway.
