Brilliance Found’s Huge December Jewelry Giveaway

Well, it’s been an amazing ride this year & we’d like to end with a little celebration for our stylish shoppers, because you’re all just so awesome!

If you’ve purchased (or been gifted) a piece of Brilliance Found Jewelry that you love, it’s time to let it show. All that is required to enter this giveaway is a picture of you rocking your new jewelry in the way you do best. The winning picture will be displayed on the BrillianceFound website in January, 2011.

In Alberta, Christmas Spirit Comes Early.

(And by “Christmas Spirit”, I really mean: Snow, Snow snow snow.)

I had nearly convinced myself that I have h1n1, until I learned that there are no cases of it in Lethbridge yet and therefore I have no real reason to have it. So it’s just a regular cold, which is kinda stupid, considering I thought I was being quite careful with washing my hands & not inhaling dirty air. Damn air dirtiness.

Nevermind the fact that in many classes I’ve been continously flanked by “sickies” (as I like to call them). Apparently my invincibility has finally worn off. Le sigh.

In the meantime, I have loads of new creations that have yet to be photo’d & posted. Excuse the delays. My inability to wake before the sun sets (4pm in Alberta-land) has been killing all chance of beautiful sunlit pictures. Yeah, you probably think you can take pictures of jewelry anytime, don’t you. WELL YOU CAN’T. Believe me, after hours & hours of re-takes & photo-adjustments, I have finally resigned to this fact: daylight is for photos. Really. Just trust me on this one.

In other (possibly related) news, we’ve now been fresh into the minus weather for well over a week. Coincidentally, I have been sick for about a week. Coincident? I THINK NOT. Okay, so it’s only been 5 days for me, but believe me the depression kicked in on day one of Cold Alberta Weather. I guess I shouldn’t really complain; September went by snow-less. Eh. I guess this is where I disgustingly admit I’ve turned into an Albertan. Being thankful for a snowless September? I never thought I’d be thanking the heavens for something that should be EXPECTED, DAMN IT.

As Mr. Bisteries says, now I will have a cold nose until April. Possibly May. And he’s not kidding. Man, when I graduate with my degree they really ought to be giving me two. One for the schooling, and one for ALBERTA. I am not a winter person. At least not THIS kind of winter.
